Balancing Hair Treatment (200ml)

The formulation of this wonderful hair and scalp treatment draws on the Ayurvedic tradition, in which massage is an important part of the application.  The oils in this formula are chosen for their ability to reduce irritation and flakiness, helping to restore and nourish the skin, simultaneously helping to replenish and soften the hair.

It is designed to be used as a treatment before washing the hair. In cold weather the oil may solidify, and if so, stand the bottle in warm water to melt, and then turn the bottle upside down repeatedly to mix the contents. Take 1-2 tablespoons of warmed oil and massage onto the scalp for up to 10 minutes, and ensuring to include the ends of the hair. Wrap the hair completely with plastic wrap or a shower cap, then again in a warmed towel. The warmth in the oil and the towel is considered to promote penetration of the oil into hair and scalp. Leave approximately 30 minutes, or longer if possible. Rinse and shampoo to remove the oil, and condition if desired.
