Choosing by skin type

For oily skin
Our Face Cleansing Powder suits all skin types and is extremely useful for oily skin where it can also be used as a mask. Oily skins will benefit from the daily exfoliation provided by the Face Cleansing Powder, in addition to its use as a mask treatment once or twice per week. Oily skins may also benefit from occasional use of our Natural Face Soap, which cleanses the skin without stripping its natural oils.

Follow with Pure oner, and then moisturise the face with a few drops of our Natural Face Oil for oily skin. It contains abundant grapeseed oil which is light and easily absorbed, and essential oils beneficial for oily skin: lavender, tea tree, geranium and lavender. Apply while the skin is still moist to aid spread and absorption of the oil.

For cleansing the body, our cedarwood, patchouli and lemon myrtle soap is ideal, the coffee granules also providing gentle exfoliation, a process that is often beneficial for oily skin. This soap will leave your skin clean but not stripped of its own natural protective oils.

Our other soaps will also cleanse oily skin well and can be used freely.

Alternatively, if you prefer Liquid Soap, try organic cedarwood, rosalina and sweet orange, or another favourite organic lavender, rosemary and lemon tea tree.

If your skin is damaged or very sensitive, use organic Olive Oil Soap – fragrance free, our gentlest, mildest body soap.

For moisturising the body, use Shea Body Moisturiser. Use sparingly on lightly damp skin to aid spread over skin. Lavender and geranium essential oils are balancing.

For normal skin
Our Face Cleansing Powder suits all skin types. The daily gentle exfoliation provided by this treatment will make normal skins glow. Normal skins will also benefit from use of the Face Cleansing Powder as a mask approximately once per week. Normal skins may also benefit from use of our Natural Face Soap.

Follow with toner, and then moisturise the face with a few drops of our Natural Face Oil for normal skin. For those days when the skin feels the need for extra nourishment or has been exposed to the elements, our Rich Face Cream is an extra nourishing alternative to the Face Oil. It contains extremely nutritious oils and butters which will replenish the skin. Both the Natural Face Oil and the Rich Face Cream should be applied sparingly and while the skin is still moist to aid spread and absorption.

For cleansing the body, choose any of our Shea and Cocoa Butter Soaps or Organic Olive oil Soaps. All of these are suitable.

If you prefer Liquid Soap, our organic palmarosa, rosemary and eucalyptus is a favourite, although our other two liquid soaps are also suitable.

For moisturising the body, our Shea Body Moisturiser is long-lasting and very protective. Use on lightly damp skin to aid spread over skin. For very dry skin areas, like hands, feet, elbows, knees and lower legs, our Shea Body Butters are particularly useful, although the body butters can also be used as a general body moisturiser. Their texture is thicker, however, than the body moisturiser, and need to be massaged in well.

For dry skin
Our Face Cleansing Powder suits all skin types. The daily gentle exfoliation provided by this treatment will leave the skin fresh and prepared to absorb moisture. Dry skins will also benefit from use of the Face Cleansing Powder as a mask approximately once per week, according to need.

Follow with toner, and then moisturise the face with a few drops of our Natural Face Oil for dry skin. For those days when the skin feels the need for extra nourishment or has been exposed to the elements, our Rich Face Cream is an extra nourishing alternative to the Face Oil. Some people with dry skins prefer to use Rich Face Cream rather than a face oil when their skin is particularly dry or in need of extra protection. Both the Natural Face Oil and the Rich Face Cream should be applied sparingly and while the skin is still moist to aid spread and absorption.
